Physicians in the Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery are proud to collaborate with health care providers across myriad specialties to provide compassionate patient care and comprehensive resident training in the treatment of head and neck cancer.
This multidisciplinary approach ensures an individualized approach and access to the full spectrum of cutting-edge surgical and reconstructive treatments, including organ-sparing management options and combined chemoradiation therapy and intensity-modulated radiation therapy that have been developed in part here at VCU.
At VCU Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center, we are continually evaluating the latest therapies through one of the largest selections of clinical trail offerings in Virginia.
Education
Residents in our program can expect extensive training across the full depth and breadth of surgical oncology and reconstruction of the head and neck. If you’re interested in pursuing a fellowship for additional training in head and neck oncology, we’ll provide the support you need to achieve that goal.
